SHADOW PEOPLE

They were born from a chance glance at a discarded canvas with random gray sponge markings on it. Wooley saw a face in it and for fun decided to silhouette that face.

“Each is a surprise. I never know what type of character will emerge. I love seeing them as a crowd. Nine just felt right.”

Ken Moldow, a poet and friend, was inspired by the paintings and is responsible for naming them on the advent of writing the poem inspired by the paintings.
